I have been a post-doc in Phil Poole’s lab since 2003.
My most recent role is as project manager of Synthetic Symbioses (SynSym), a BBSRC/NSF-funded Nitrogen Ideas Lab grant supporting research at six centres across USA and UK.
I am also project manager of a BBSRC/DBT-funded Newton Grant, the India UK Nitrogen Fixation Centre (IUNFC), which was launched in Oct. 2016 in Bhopal, India. IUNFC is a virtual joint centre (VJC), one aim of which is to improve the performance of pigeon pea for farmers in rural India.
