I did my undergraduate at the university of York from 2011-2015 earning a BSc in genetics with an industrial placement year in 2013. I started on the BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP at Oxford in 2015, completed a 3 month rotation in the Poole lab in March 2016 and started full time in the Poole lab in July 2016. My research focus is on the regulation of nif and fix genes and their role in controlling nitrogen fixation.
