India and nitrogen fixation

IUNFC (India UK Nitrogen Fixation Centre) is a VJC led by Prof Philip Poole in UK and Dr DLN Rao/Dr Santosh Mohanty in India. It involves thirty-five scientists in ten laboratories  whose aim is to improve to improve nutrition from rain-fed legume crops through cutting-edge biological research into nitrogen fixation.

The Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development at Somerville College, Oxford. With a research interest in nitrogen fixation and a Fellow of Somerville College, Prof. Phil Poole delighted to be involved in this historic partnership.
